John M. Landis began his career working for the James Law Firm in Little Rock, Arkansas, practicing exclusively in the area of criminal defense. As an Etoch Law Firm attorney, Mr. Landis practices in the areas personal injury, criminal defense, and domestic relations cases. Mr. Landis provides competent, effective representation to injury victims and criminal defendants throughout the State of Arkansas.
Mr. Landis earned his Bachelor’s Degree in 2010 from the Sam M. Walton College of Business in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Following graduation, Mr. Landis was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Texas Army National Guard as an infantry officer. Following his initial training, Mr. Landis began law school at the William H. Bowen School of Law in Little Rock, Arkansas in the fall of 2011.
After completing his first year of law school, Mr. Landis served a tour in Afghanistan. Mr. Landis is a third-generation veteran. He has served as a rifle platoon leader in the Texas National Guard, and as a heavy weapons platoon leader and executive officer of a heavy weapons company in the Arkansas National Guard.
Mr. Landis returned to law school in the fall of 2013 and earned a Juris Doctorate from the William H. Bowen School of Law in Little Rock in 2015.
Outside of his work as an attorney, Mr. Landis spends much of his time outdoors. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and canoeing.
